Product description

Erythritol, also known as Phycite, is a natural sweetener, zero calorie sweetener, filling sweetener that can replace sucrose. Erythritol is white powder crystal in appear-ance, and its aqueous solution is colorless and non viscous. Slightly sweet. the relative sugar sweetness is 60% - 70%,with a cold sensation. It has a clear and sweet taste similar to suerose. It is widely found in natural animals and plants, Erythritol is the only functional sugar alcohol produced by microbial fermenta-tion in the world.

Application

For ice cream

Erythritol is the first natural polyol, manufactured by a fermentation-based process. With regards to ice cream, using  Erythritol,  creates a taste and sweetness impression very close to a sugar-based recipe.  significantly less digestive stress. Overall Erythritol is ideal for the formulation of ice cream with reduced sugar and calorie content as it reduces calories while still providing texture and a pleasant sugar-like taste.

For Baking

It is widely used in bakery products, such as cakes, cookies, and biscuits. Erythritol is used to replace part of sucrose while maintaining good taste, it can also prevent moisture and prolong the shelf life.

For Candy

The advantages of Erythritol in confectionery are: clean and sugar-like taste, sugar-free, natural, no calories, anti-caries, high tolerance, a cooling taste, non-hygroscopic, and no brown or caramelize

For Chocolate

Erythritol has extremely low or no hygroscopicity so the problem of frost caused by moisture absorption will not occur in the production of chocolate. Also, Erythritol is easy to pulverize to produce a very fine powder which is required by chocolate

For Beverage

Erythritol can be used in the production of low-calorie beverages as it reduces the amount of sucrose, in fruit juice and it has a certain protective effect on vitamin C in fruit drinks. Meanwhile, it is stable in acidic solution, and provides a clean, sugar-like taste and can mask offensive odors and improve the flavor of the soda. Also, it works well with high intensity sweeteners.
